Monitoring services and drought forecats. Quasi-real time monitoring activities related to dry events in Tuscany, based on a series of rainfall indices derived from weather on land (SPI, EDI) and satellite (NDVI anomalies, VCI, TCI, VHI) stations; seasonal forecasts (up to three months) aimed at analysing the phenomenon development. The main information about the water deficit and the impacts on forestry and the most important agricultural crops are updated on the web page. In collaboration with Consortium LaMMA.
