    Born in Pistoia at August 9, 1981.
    Since January 2011, she is attending a PhD in "Nonlinear Dynamics and Complex Systems" at the Department of Systems and Informatics, Faculty of Engineering of the University of Florence.
    In July 2010 she earned the qualification for Civil and Environmental Engineering.
    In 2009 she graduated “cum laude” in Environmental Engineering at the University of Florence (second level graduate, equivalent at M.Sc.), with a thesis on the application of ROMS numerical model to study  the sediment dispersion induced by the installation works of a new submarine electrical connection between Piombino and Elba’s Isle.
    In 2006 she graduated “cum laude” in Environmental Engineering at the University of Florence (first level graduate), with a thesis entitled "Design Choices and safety management. Application on a construction site of the High Speed Railway Bologna - Florence ".

    From 20 to 29 June 2011, she attended the Alpine Summer School, Course XIX on “Regional Climate Dynamics in the Mediterranean and beyond: an Earth System Prespective”, organized by ISAC-CNR and CNRS.
    In November 2010 she spent 10 days study-living at IFREMER in Toulon.
    In October 2010 she attended the formational course of 35 hours "Techniques, Technologies and Applications of Earth observation from space", organized by CTOTUS Project  (CNR-IFAC, Selex Galileo, INO-CNR, Flyby, LENS).
    In December 2010 she attended the course of 25 hours for weather forecaster “Forecaster Professional Development Course" held by MetOffice.
    In May 2009, she attended the course on ArcGIS of 24 hours held by CSIAF – University of Florence.

Professional Experience
    Since February 2010, she is Research Fellow at the Institute of Biometeorology of Florence on the following theme: "Development of high-resolution oceanographic models for the regional area of Tuscany, in the context of the activities envisaged in the agreement with the Consortium LaMMA”.
    In May 2011 he participated in the oceanographic “MELBA” at the Tuscan Archipelago, organized by IFREMER in collaboration with LaMMA.
    In September-October 2011 has participated in oceanographic “MILONGA” at the Tuscan Archipelago, organized by LaMMA in collaboration with IFREMER, OGS and SCRIPPS.
    In January 2010 he worked in collaboration with the Department of Civil and Environmental  Engineering, University of Florence, to implement a numerical model for the study of the impact of a streaming cold at sea, in the environmental impact evaluation the regasification O.L.T. in Livorno.
    From November 2008 to May 2009 he held an internship  of 500 hours at TERNA SPA as part of the restructuring of the electricity net in the Piombino-Suvereto area and in particular the design of the submarine cable of high voltage electric connection between Piombino and Elba Island.
    From May 2005 to April 2006 he held an internship of 500 hours at the Unit "TAV & Great Works” Prevention Department of Public Hygiene - ASL 10 Florence about the control of occupational safety in construction sites TAV Florence -Bologna, V.A.V. and Third Lane Highway.

    Degree Award by " Filippo Lippi " Rotary Club in Prato, June 2006.
    Winner of the competition set up by the city of Prato and the Prato Engineering entitled "Restoring the functions of the Estate of Cascine di Tavola" , June 2003.
